Hi! Welcome to my website.

My name is Dawson and I'm an Atlanta-based filmmaker specializing in editing and sound design. I originate from Western NC where I graduated from WCU with a BFA in Film and Television Production in the Spring of 2022.

My school connections led me to Local Cinema Studios, where I got my start as a DIT and Assistant Editor, which later turned into an opportunity to Sound Design. Now, I've done both in some facet for films and was lucky to jump right into it out of college.

Last year, I got an opportunity to edit and sound design the feature film, "Hero", funded by USC and The South Carolina Film Commission, which is currently on its festival run and Premiered at the Academy Award-qualifying RiverRun International Film Festival. I also sound-designed a fun horror film for Iris Indie International, "You're Killing Me", which is now available on Showtime.
